C/C++ Header Files software package

To be able to recompile this project the package "C281x C/C++ Header Files and Peripheral Examples" (Texas Instruments Literature number: SPRC097) must be installed in the default directory of the installer (usually c:\tidcs). Some files needed for this project are only linked from this package path and are not shipped with the project example. If you want to install this package somewhere else on your harddisc you need to change the path to the package in the project settings accordingly.

Global interrupt Bit

The global interrupt enable bit must be set prior to a dc_configure() call.

Bit Clock and Update Frequency

The maximum SPI bit clock (running in master mode) is 25MHz. The maximum update rate is 761ns (1.314MHz).

Buffer size

The buffer size for a single buffer should not be lower than 32 (especially at higher bit clock rates). For lower bit clock rates a buffer size of 16 is possible, which is the absolut minimum for this software.
