  • OCV: Open circuit voltage of a battery

    • Passed Charge: Coulomb counter integrated charge during battery discharge or battery charge

    • Qmax: Maximum battery chemical capacity

     DOD: Depth of discharge; DOD= 1-SOC (usually in %)

    • DOD0: Last DOD reading before charge or discharge

    RM: Remaining capacity, in mAh or mWh

    • FCC: Full charge capacity, the amount of charge passed from the fully charged state to the

    terminate voltage, in mAh or mWh

    • SOC: State-of-charge at any moment, defined as SOC=Q/Qmax (usually in %), where Q is the Passed Charge from full charge state

    Update of RM and FCC takes place after each resistance grid-point update, at the end of discharge, and

  • RSOC=RM/FCC

    The gas gauge updates information on chemical depth of discharge (DOD0) based on open-circuit voltage

    (OCV) readings when in a relaxed state. DOD is found by correlating DOD with OCV using a predefined

    table DOD(OCV,T) stored as reserved data flash parameters.

    如果电池一直处于relax模式,没有达到terminated voltage,这种情况应该不会发生

    PassedCharge is the coulomb count integrated during the present discharge or charge and set to zero at every DOD0 update.

    SOH, since it's calculated based on learned Qmax which requires fully charge and discharge, so, SOH may not calculated and updated incompletely charge and discharge. Most accurate SOH for currently inserted pack following a Qmax update.

    SOH is calculated as (Full Charge Capacity) / Design Capacity. So as the Full Charge Capacity is updated as the battery ages, the SOH will decrease.

  • SOC: State-of-charge at any moment, defined as SOC=Q/Qmax (usually in %), where Q is the Passed Charge from full charge state
    RSOC是相对剩余容量,两个不同的概念。

    您先了解芯片进入relax mode的条件,就知道relax mode和terminate voltage没有关系,
    可以看一下TRM 3.2.8 Quit Current, Dsg Relax Time, Chg Relax Time, and Quit Relax Time
