TPS54331短路保护会过热,烧毁续流二极管,急

我完全参考TI了提供的TPS54331参考设计,设计输入是:12V,输出5V,3A,  正常带负载芯片工作都没有问题,我测试TPS54331的短路保护,输出短路时:

1,输出电压基本关断,但是续流二极管B340A和芯片温度会持续上升,续流二极管的温升明显比芯片还要快,

2,12V输入电流竟然还显示有0.28A,

3,温升持续下去,必然会烧毁续流二极管和芯片,在我以往的TPS5430的应用中已经有过过流导致续流二极管和芯片烧毁的情况,这次我测试了TPS54331,依然存在这种情况,请问有什么好的解决办法?是改进设计还是更换电源芯片,我的应用是带2A的卤素灯,要求软启动,因为卤素灯的启动时100ms内负载电流很大
