A WDR sensor shorts every frame with multiple exposure times (in general between 2 ~ 4, with
an exposure time ratio between 4x ~ 16x). The WDR sensor then outputs
1) Either multi frames (frame by frame, or line by line) in a linear mode
2) Or a single frame with higher bit depth (16 bits for example)
3) Or a single frame in a companded (compressed) mode.
