Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25792, TPS25750
I want to buy a TPS25750EVM to do the verification ,but I have some questions . in the TPS25750EVM block diagram ,we use the TPS25750+BQ25792 to design the PD charging and discharging system ,but In my design , I only want to design a PD discharging system ,so I will use the Buck to replace the BQ25792 to generate the required voltage . when I use the the web-based tool TPS25750 Application Customization Tool ,I cannot decide to choose which configuration .
seems I should choose this as below, but the current path marked in the picture is only sink direction ,not like BQ25792 , it has bi-direction source and sink .
so I want to know ,if I put the buck here , my choice is right or not ,because the current path is only a sink .and can the system can work well ?
another question is that ,for the buck ,I will set the voltage auto-switch by PDO , can this tool set the related GPIO to accomplish it ? do you have the guide ?
