The A and B outputs within a given ePWM instance are partially independent.
They have separate CMPA / CMPB and AQCTLA / AQCTLB registers, allowing them to output different pulses. However, they share the same time-base counter, period, count mode, etc., restricting their configuration from being 100% independent.
