Another option (which we strongly recommend) would be for your customer to simply switch the product design to SPI, which is much easier integrate and set up between the AM243x and BP CC33x1. We also have guides for this to walk your customer through the process. If your customer's only option is to use SDIO but is willing to use a different host to talk to the BP CC33x1, we highly recommend your customer to use a Linux MPU host. Unfortunately, we currently cannot provide additional assistance (such as providing an SDIO example with the AM243x and BP CC33x1) without knowing more about your customer and your customer's goals.

论坛文章:RE: AM2434: How to set the 4-bit mode and 1-bit mode of sdio for AM2434 development board+BP3351 module

from top to bottom

论坛文章:RE: AM2434: How to set the 4-bit mode and 1-bit mode of sdio for AM2434 development board+BP3351 module

Can you resend the picture? You would need to create seperate files similar to the image: The files would also need to be added to the makefile of the example, so its compiled. Additionally, do make sure the MMCSD instance in that is opened in the default MCU+SDK flow is closed or removed such that there is no error in opening this instance. The init API in itself does not need modification, rather the configurations that are being used in the init: Along with above configurations, the pinmux is also configured seperately like below: Please verify the correct pinmux configurations from the AM243 Datasheet as SDIO is not tested.

论坛文章:RE: AM2434: Does the AM2434+BP3351 development board combination support the sdio interface

1. This can be implemented in a similar way to what happens in the System_init() API that is given. Instead of the default MMCSD_init() API, you can make a custom API with the changes required for SDIO. In this setup itself, you would be able to setup the attributes for the SDIO including 1 bit or 4 bit mode. You could also take reference from the Linux implementation of SDIO on the Processor SDK. The SDIO mode is however, not supported in the MCU+SDK and must be tested on the customer's side.

论坛文章:RE: AM2434: How to set the 4-bit mode and 1-bit mode of sdio for AM2434 development board+BP3351 module

How to modify eMMC code? We will not be providing SDIO implementation unless it is a feature that is absolutely necessary for your customer, and if there is strong reason from your customer that SPI cannot be used between these two devices. If you look at the launchpads of the AM243 and the BP3351 and examine the pinouts, here is additional headwind for your customer: the pins do not line up! The customer will have to use jumper wires just to set up the right connections for the SDIO interface, and the customer also needs to verify the supported voltage levels for the SDIO pins. Therefore, we strongly recommend using SPI to avoid all this headache. Can you provide additional details on the following: 1. Who is your customer and what is the opportunity size? 2. Why is your customer adamant about using SDIO? If there is additional confusion, we can set up a call with the customer.
