I'm a undergraduate learning astrophysics and interested in radio telescopes now. I have learned some courses about curcuits but still confused about how to choose an ADC for my antenna (1-1.5GHz). So what parameters should I focus on ? Should I buy other things like clock buffers ?(I'm sorry for my stupid questions) And I appreciate it if someone could give me more further advice about builing an antenna backend and learning about microwave curcuits !
