In the process of establishing SGMII using DP83TG720S-Q1 and NXP's SJA1110 switch, we found that the connection could not be established.
We have checked and changed the registers of DP83TG720S-Q1 [SGMII_CTRL_1 608h 0x79(write) & SGMII_STATUS Register 60Ah 0x200(read) ].
We tested the case where the two PHYs are connected using SGMII. In this case, the two are in the linkup state, and the transmission is no problem.
Besides, we also tested the connection of SJA1110 SGMII with other chips, confirmed the port can communicate, and ruled out its configuration problem.
So, we want to know if we are ignoring any parameters that prevent the connection from being established.
