LMH0303: link down issue

We use LMH0303 + LMH0344 at customer side which links down with 2m cable.

What will be the problem?

What's the difference betwwn LMH0302 and LMH0303? Why the typicall reference circuit uses a re-clock with LMH0303? While there isn't a re-clock for LMH0302?

    Hello，. The LMH0303 integrated Cable Detect on Output， LMH0302 hasn't the cable detection function.

    Do you mean that if you use LMH0302+LMH0344 could link while LMH0303+LMH0344 couldn't link?

    How do you judge the link is down? What is the output level of Fault Pin?

    No, I'm not sure if LMH0302+LMH0344 will work.

    It links down because the Video Analyzer doesn't get signal (3G-SDI checkfield). While when it is changed to a competitor's product with CDR (LMH0346) inside, it works well.

    I'm not sure what cable driver & cable equalizer the competitor uses. There is only 2 meters + 2 meters coaxial cable in the test setup.

    LMH0303是cable 驱动器，LMH0344 是自适应cable均衡器。

    不知道您具体应用是什么？ 如果只是想延长电缆增强驱动能力，LMH0303就可以了。如果是想对长距离传输过来的信号进行均衡处理使用LMH0344.

    您可以看下这两款器件的典型应用：
