1. Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework v4.5 or later installed on your machine. This can be downloaded from Microsoft's website.
2. Users running controlSUITE from within Code Composer Studio will not be able to directly launch the Standalone Compensation Designer GUI from the left hand selection menu. Instead, users are encouraged to navigate to the powerSUITE Compensation Designer inside the windows explorer and launch the compensation designer from there. Note the compensation designer will launch correctly from the powerSUITE solution adapter page once the project has been created.
3. Make sure you installed controlSUITE in a directory you have administrative privileges otherwise the SFRA and compensation designer GUI will not launch from the powerSUITE page as you will not have administrative privileges on that folder and it prevents certain read and write the GUI does in those folders.
4. Make sure you do not have any space in the file path of the location where you save the adapted solution, otherwise an error may show up when trying to run the compensation designer or the SFRA GUI or the page may fail to load altogether.
