TPS4H000-Q1: Schematic review

Part Number: TPS4H000-Q1

Hi experts,

Chery plan to evaluate our TPS4H000-Q1 on the A sample of their MTK8676  cockpit self-research project, this expected shipment volume is 1M/year, which could cover all Chery mid- and low-end models. Due to the tight time schedule of this project, customer need lock the schematic design before this Wednesday, could you please help share you bandwidth to help customer review the shematic design before this Wednesday? Thanks for your support!

  • Hi,

We have received your post and the investigation will take some time. Thank you for your patience.

  • The configuration on the ST pins with the pull-up and series resistors needs to be as below for correct readings when the pin is pulled low:

    Is L3076-3079 the cable resistance?

Unless you have an upstream diode for reverse battery protection, it is recommended that a ground network with a resistor and diode in parallel is used (please see below).

The current limit cannot be set to 2.96A. The max that can be set using an external resistor is 0.9A. The internal current limit is slightly higher, but it is more for fail-safe conditions.

Also, the values used to determine the current limit resistor are incorrect. The correct ones are below.  RCL = VCL x KCL / 0.5A = 480Ω.
