LM5051MAEVAL: LM5051, after loading 25A, VCC was found to be short-circuited to ground.

The PIM_VRTN input is 54V, and the gate pin drives 4 mosfets.
When the normal load is 20A, LM5051 works normally. When the load current increases to 25A, LM5051 VCC is short-circuited to gnd.
I want to confirm
1. Is the TVS inside the VCC damaged?
2. What is the maximum current that TVS can withstand?
3. In addition, how much driving current can the gate output?

       在20A时,示波器测试一下Vcc?   Vout?

       另外MOS有没有击穿?  断电测试Vcc是否内部短路? 

  • 如下为损坏时候波形,MOS管没有击穿,LM5051就是VCC对地短路,目前将Line管脚悬空,将VCC接10K电阻到54V可以解决改问题,如下图
    所以我想确认,是不是因为VCC的TVS没有钳位住电压导致VCC管脚被电压击穿损坏?

    从规格书上看,典型应用LINE接48V时,Igate电流为0.66mA, Ivcc电流为1mA,但是ILine电流为啥只有0.69mA。
    理论上ILine=Ivcc+ITVS,但是看规格为何Ivcc电流会比Iline还大?
    如果正常工作时候,48V输入,Iline=0.69mA,Ivcc=0.6ma,Itvs管电流=0.09mA,是否会因为流过TVS管因为电流太小,导致TVS管无法钳位住13V电压,然后击穿TVS管?

       我觉得不是TVS管的问题,如果是电流太小,在加上10kohm电阻后,电流就更小了,但是却没有烧Vcc。(芯片内部50kohm的电阻足以限制电流)

       将输入电压调低,测试你的操作中芯片输入电压是否存在异常?

       另外操作上是否有热插拔之类的问题?
