UCC12040: Do I need to pull up or pull down the SYNC_OK pin if I don't need external SYNC signal?

Part Number: UCC12040

Hi:

In datasheet, it say that: The SYNC_OK pin is asserted LOW if there is no external SYNC clock or one that is outside of the operating range of the device is detected.

But in demo board design , the SYNC_OK pin was pull high to VINP.

So, Do I need to pull up or pull down the SYNC_OK  pin if I don't need external SYNC signal?
