TPS650365-Q1: TPS650365-Q1 SEQ pin controls power-up/power-down, sleep and wake-up

Part Number: TPS650365-Q1

The SEQ pin of the TPS650365-Q1 device controls power-up/power-down, sleep and wake-up sequences. Are dedicated register configurations required for this function?

When using factory default settings during power-on, toggling the SEQ pin high or low results in no change to the chip’s power rail outputs. Are there any relevant operational routines or reference examples available?

  • Hello, we have received your case and the investigation will take some time. Thank you for your patience.

  • Please request the full datasheet and additional documents for more information.

    No further information is available.

  • Thank you for your reply.
    The full part number is TPS65036502RAYRQ1.
    The function we intend to implement is as follows:
    After initial power-on, the device operates with default configuration, and all power rail output voltages are currently correct.
    When entering sleep mode, pull the SEQ pin low to disable power rail outputs; when waking up, pull the SEQ pin high externally to resume normal output.
    The current issue:
    After the first power-up, toggling the SEQ pin for sleep and wake-up has no response.
    Could you please confirm the following operation is correct?
    After power-on, manually set SEQ_PIN_BUCK1 to 0 first, then pull the SEQ pin low to enter sleep mode;
    to wake up, pull the SEQ pin high again to restore power output.
    The readback values of registers 0x01, 0x02, 0x03 and 0x04 are 0xBE, 0x02, 0x02, 0x00 respectively.
