the TAS3111 is designed for 10W output. 48Vpp is much higher than this even using 8 ohm load. the performance can' be guaranteed.

regarding the issue, as customer had set the auto- recovery by connecting FAULT pin to SD pin. there maybe risk to damage the chip.
