LM3886: LM3886 Output waveform distortion

Part Number: LM3886

hello  when I  use  LM3886T like a  driver, How was The  mute  pin (Pin  8)   effect   distortion。

when I give R96 a value  100k,The output  pin 3   gives plot like 100K.rar.     

when  R96=39kΩ   ,output  looks like   39K.rar

my  circuit:

mute :

I'm confused why mute would cause waveform distortion?Shouldn't it be overall attenuation?
