INA4235: ENOB calculation of INA4235

Part Number: INA4235

Hello TI Team,

Hello team,  I want to ask something about the measurement algrithom about the ENOB table of INA4235 for ADC range = 0 (2.5uV/LSB) only.

As the datasheet mentioned in Page 28, the ENOB table is calculated by the peak-to-peak value of the noise.

For 140us conversion time at ADC RANGE = 0, it indicates that the ENOB is 13.1bits (in datasheet Page 28); however, the noise curve in Page 15 illustrates that the noise peak-to-peak value for the 140us conversion time is about 45uV. According to the equation of the ENOB: ENOB = log2(Full-scale range/noise-pp), the calculated ENOB is 11.83bits, rather than 13.1 bits.

Could you tell me if my calculation is correct? Or are there any misunderstandings about the calculation of ENOB?

Best regards,

Jason
