INA226: The solution of current measurement for 54V on high side application

Hi team

My product needs to use current measurement in 54V/1A environment

I find the TI Designs as follow

I have some question:
1. What is the RSHUNT resistance value?
2. Is the wire link correct on high side?
3. Pls help to check the schematic diagram

    所附链接方案主要是为了实现高总线电源电压,即可以在高达400 V的总线电压下实现电流检测。而在您的应用中,最高总线电压是54V,TI有多个电流检测芯片可以应用在此总线电压下,如下芯片检索截图:

    因此,如果您没有其他设计要求,那么就没必要按照所附链接方案设计您的方案,您可以考虑上述芯片方案直接实现。

    我们想维持使用INA226,如果只量测电流,并且改成low side并移除OPA,这样是否可以维持使用INA226?

  • VBUS不需要测量的话,可以将INA226 的VBUS管脚接地;

    Alert 和I2C(SDA、SCL)都是OD接口,需要接上拉电阻到VS;
