I'd like to get your thoughts. I used a comparator LM393 to drive the MOSFET. When LM393 outputs a low potential, Q42 will generate a large surge current, causing Q42 to be damaged instantly, but the load is only 100uF. I don't understand why such a large surge current would be generated instantly? Shouldn't the LM393 be used to drive the MOSFET directly?
