TAS5822M: TAS5822M Overcurrent protection problem

Part Number: TAS5822M

Hi Ti TEAM

Will change the BST pin of TAS5822 chip from 0.47uf to 2.2uF affect the chip

thanks!

Harrison

  • Hello, we recommend to use 0.47uF  bootstrap capacitor to connect the appropriate output pin (OUT_X) to the bootstrap pin (BST_X).

You mean that you change the 0.47uF to 2.2uF and affect the chip, how does it affect? Generally, we used  the recommended bootstrap capacitor or it would have OC risk.
