TPA3255: The TPA3255 is hot when the reset signal is low level.

Hi Team,

The PVDD is 24V and the GVDD is 12V in my application, the attachment is my schematic. one heat sink  is attached on the TPA3255.

When the reset signal is low and the actually voltage of the 24V power rail is about 12V(the input power supply of my application is from a 12V battery package, the 24V PVDD souced from a boost power module of the battery packege, and the 12V GVDD is from a buck power supply of PVDD), the heat sink is hot. I`d like to know what the TPA3255`s status is when the RESET is low, and what is the reason of this hot phenomenon?Because the total power supply of my application is from a 12V battery package, so I`d like to avoid all of the unused power consumption, please give me some hints for the hot phenomenon.     TPA3255 的reset 是低电平有效,reset 低电平的话,设备就没有输出了,各供电电源需要的电流很小:

        Sorry!我设计参考如下图。我的设计使用12V动力电池供电,12V电池电压升压到24V供给PVDD,  然后把PVDD的24V再降压到12V供给GVDD. PVDD使用boost模块变过来的,这个模块默认disable的情况下PVDD等于电池电压,GVDD默认情况下是没有电压输入的。默认的情况下reset是低电平,我的单板大小尺寸106mmX50mm,铝散热板也是这个尺寸,整个散热板只有和TPA3255通过导热硅脂连接。默认的情况下上电过一会,散热板就会发热,也就是TPA3255在发热,我想了解默认情况下TPA3255为什么会发热?这个发热会消耗电池的功率,我希望能尽可能减小这个无用的发热功率,请就此问题给我提供一些建议或帮助。Thanks!

    您可以测量PVDD、GVDD、VDD的电流吗?与datasheet 参数对比下看哪个电源异常?
