Hello, I want to use an LMX2594 to output a 13GHz single-ended signal to a mixer, and an LMK61A2-100M00SIAT to provide a 100MHz reference signal. Could you please check the circuit diagram connections to see if any modifications are needed?

Hi,

Schematic is fine. RFOUT is open drain output, we can just leave the pins floating if not using it.

Depending on your phase noise requirement, the LMK6 reference clock may not be good enough for LMX2594 to produce the lowest phase noise.

1. pins 17 and 18 can be directly NC-connected right?

2. Regarding the reference clock, do you have a recommended model?
