LMX2572: VCO direct output, channel divider couldn't be powered down

Part Number: LMX2572

When I was using CPLD to configure LMX2572, I encountered the following problem: I was able to switch frequencies below 3.2GHz, but when I tried to switch frequencies above 3.2GHz, I got a Divider output of the frequency I wanted. I configured OUTA_MUX and OUTB_MUX according to the manual, trying to close the Channel Divider, but it didn't seem to work. So I would like to ask you if there is a good solution? (I have seen similar problems on the forums, but it doesn't seem to be solved perfectly)

  • Hi,

We've looked help from our expert and please expect the response.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

Would you provide the register configuration in TICS Pro format?

Alternatively, use TICS Pro to generate the configuration and compare the register values between TICS Pro and customer code.

In this case, the problem is most likely due to wrong customer code.

    An example TICS Pro configuration.

The register value is available in the Raw Register tab. We can export the register value in text format.
