At present, we are able to successfully control both the AFE8000EVM and the TSW14J58EVM using the AFE80xxCAT software.
However, there is still an unresolved issue. When launching the software, the following warning appears:
“Couldn't Detect FPGA Reset FTDI. Please reset FPGA manually.”
After continuing and following the normal Device Bringup procedure, the message “FPGA Reset device not found” appears twice. Log file:

Previously, in order to use the USB 2.0 FTDI interface on the TSW14J58EVM for firmware programming, we modified the EEPROM information of this interface. We now strongly suspect that these EEPROM changes are the root cause of the issue, as they may prevent AFE80xxCAT from correctly detecting the USB 2.0 FTDI interface on the TSW14J58EVM, resulting in the “FPGA Reset device not found” error.
We would appreciate it if TI could provide the original EEPROM configuration for the TSW14J58EVM, so that we can restore (reprogram) it.
