DAC7612: How to distinguish DAC7612U from DAC7612UB during application？

Part Number: DAC7612

We are facing an issue: how to quickly tell whether DAC7612U or DAC7612UB is mounted on our products. Our end customers have questioned how we can confirm that DAC7612UB, rather than DAC7612U, is used on the units. According to the datasheet, the two components carry identical part marking, making them indistinguishable by visual inspection alone。dac7612.pdf park marking.png

    Hello,
    Since DAC7612 is very old chip from BURR-BROWN, regarding all part marking database, DAC7612U and DAC7612UB share a same part marking "DAC7612U",
    I think the only way to identify them is buying from TI official channel without further resource to provide.

    A newer version product such as DAC60502 and DAC63002 are recommended if the customer is in a new design.
