DLPC900: Regarding the hardware design issues of DLPC900

Part Number: DLPC900
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLP9000,

Hi,Ti Team:
Recently, we have been using two DLPC900 devices to drive DLP9000.

The application scenarios are as follows:
1. Use a single DLPC900 with dual ports to simultaneously input image data from the FPGA side.
2. Use the video pattern mode, with single-color light usage, and trigger the camera to take pictures when the single-color light is exposed.

The questions are as follows:
1.Currently, only 8-bit image data is input, and only the blue LED is used. Is it feasible in the hardware design to connect only one channel to the RGB input pins of the DLPC900 (using a single DLPC900 with two RGB channels connected to 1 8-bit signal each), and leave the RG channels unconnected or grounded?Or is there another better design?
2.Can the firmware provide for us? Does the firmware distinguish between single-color light firmware and RGB firmware?
3.Will this affect the final brightness of the LED?
