Hello TI team,
I am working with the DLPC900 EVM and would like to ask about the J26 external parallel video input interface.
I mainly have two questions:
- Is there any existing TI or TI-partner hardware solution that can directly mate with J26 and provide the required parallel RGB video input?
I would like to know whether there is any already-developed source-side board or module, so that I do not need to design the whole interface from scratch. - If there is no ready-made solution, what is the recommended way to design the source side?
For example:
- which document should be the main reference for the J26 parallel RGB input timing,
- whether an FPGA is the recommended approach,
- and whether there is any reference design or example for generating the required parallel RGB video source.
My goal is to use a high-speed parallel RGB video source for DLPC900, so I would appreciate any guidance on whether there is an existing solution or how to design one properly.
