why uses a FPGA in DLPC3437 design, but DLPC3439 no FPGA?

Hi, Sir, 

Recently, I'm study DLPC3437 design for 1080P projector, and found one FPGA in the reference design. But I remember no FPGA in the DPLC3439 reference design. and both platforms are 1080p, so can I remove the FPGA from DPLC3437 design for cost saving?

    Yes, there is no FPGA in DLPC3439+DLP4710 system. Unfortunatelly, the FPGA in DLPC3437+DLP3310 system is necessary for correct system operation, you can not remove it. Please let me know if there is any further questions.

    我看到FPGA上有带LVDS接口,是两个5条数据通道,加时钟通道。 FPD0A~FPD0E, FPD1A~FPD1E, 但是我的主控只能够输出双4路数据通道,加两条时钟通道。这样的话该如何设计?是否我可以通过命令,或者软件更改FPGA的LVDS设置?

    可以只使用ABCD通道,悬空E通道
