DLP670S: if the video is no need, could i delete one DLPC900

in the DLP670SEVM reference design, there are two DLPC900, and the slave DLPC900 only output data of video.  but we only output certain pattern, no video, so could i delete the slave DLPC900. if no, why? if yes , is there other thing i must do to make it works well.
