Hello everyone at TI, we're currently experiencing some issues and problems with our application. The problem is as follows:
When using the MAX232DR circuit, the RX pin of the 8-pin IC measured with an oscilloscope reaches 0V, and communication is normal.
However, when using the MAX232IDR, the RX pin is clamped to around 1.2V, causing communication issues.
The circuit and PCB components are identical; only the IC is replaced.
Does anyone know what's causing this? Is it an internal issue with the TI IC? Or do you have any suggestions for a solution?
