Both DS25BR100 and 101 incorporate on-chip termination resistors at the output terminals. Generally, the termination resistors for LVDS are placed at the receiving end. In the illustrated application, the output port of BR100 at the transmitting end contains a termination resistor, but it is actually located closer to the transmitting end. I don't quite understand this usage.
