LP-MSPM0G3507: CCS cannot detect the board

Part Number: LP-MSPM0G3507
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSEMU110-U

Yesterday during development, I was using the original USB cable, but CCS couldn't connect to the board and I couldn't flash the program. The board itself is still working fine—it can control other peripherals and the old code runs without issues. But now I can't compile/flash anything and CCS won't connect. When I check Device Manager, the board doesn't show up at all. What could be causing this? Has the XDS fried? I already tried the DFU method yesterday.

  • Hello, we have received your case and the investigation will take some time. Thank you for your patience.

  • Buy a standalone XDS110 debug probe, TMDSEMU110-U
    Precautions (to avoid further damage)
    1. Avoid hot-plugging USB when the board has high-voltage peripherals
    2. Use a USB hub with overcurrent protection
    3. Wear an anti-static wrist strap when working in static-prone environments
    4. Don’t forcefully connect or disconnect the debugger cable while the board is running
