Our product utilizes a GD32 microcontroller and a DP83848 PHY to implement Ethernet functionality.
During electromagnetic interference (EMI) immunity testing, the network connection drops; simply unplugging
and reconnecting the Ethernet cable fails to restore the link, whereas power-cycling the device does restore
communication. The questions are:
(1) How can communication anomalies (such as connection loss) with the DP83848 be detected by microcontroller?
(2) How can the microcontroller restore communication via software after a DP83848 communication anomaly occurs, without power-cycling the device?
(3) What hardware measures can be implemented to enhance interference immunity?
