我们最近发现TCA8418在生产中损坏率较高,并发现TI又推出TCA8418E,ESD升级版本。
问题是;
1 TCA8418是否存在隐患?
2 是否有何TCA8418管脚一样,且ESD升级的计划?
Why Was This Part Developed? (What problem does it solve)
The major benefit of this device is it frees up the processor from having to scan the keypad for presses and releases. This enables a lower power system. By offloading key scan management from the processor, this frees MIPs of the processor to focus on more time critical processes as well as simplifying the software overhead required to manage the keyboard. In addition, it is ideal for usage with processors that have limited GPIOs. The supply voltage range of 1.65V to 3.6V makes it ideal for interfacing with today's most advanced, low-voltage processors and eliminates the need for external voltage translation devices further saving BOM cost and board space. Also, with its enhanced ESD protection and small package size, it makes it a complete keypad controller solution.
