P82B715: Pullup Voltage issue

Hello,

When I design the circuit, I have a doubt.

I understood from the datasheet that the Sx and Lx are independant of the Vcc P82B715.

I have a 3.3V I2C bus (MCU) that I need to drive through a cable to a 5V I2C bus (temp sense).

I have the MCU signals (3V3) pulled-up to 3V3 and connect to a P82B715 Sx side (P82B715 Vcc is 5V). The Lx side is pulled to 5V and goes to a 3m cable.

At the other end of the cable is another P82B715 (P82B715 Vcc is 5V) connected on the Lx pins. My target temperature sensor is connected to the Sx pins with 5V pullups.

Does it can work?
