After the 0x33 Sink Capabilities register has been updated, the customer can use the 'GSrC' 4CC command to force the connected device to re-send its source capabilities and renegotiate a new PD contract with the updated Sink Capabilities.
The flow would be as follows:
1. Updated Sink Capabilities in 0x33 2. Send 'GSrC' 4CC Command 3. New PD contract will be negotiated
