SN65HVD33: Resistance problem

It is used in RS422 circuit. Why the resistance of B Pin and GND Pin of SN65HVD33DR is 2.2Ω, they are short circuit. But the communication is normal.

  • Hello, if the receiver is enable, output is always determined by VID. If it above VIT+ the output will be high; if it is below VIT- the output will be low. 

    So even though the B is short, if the Vid is still above  VIT+ threshold ,it could also output high.

     In addition, SN65HVD33 has integrated failsafe circuit,  please refer to "9.3.4 Receiver Failsafe" section.
