目前我们需要一个可以防止RS232外部短路的232接口芯片（或电路），具体工况如下：
1.RS232-TX对GND短路时；
2.RS232-TX对VCC短路时；
3.RS232-RX对GND短路时；
4.RS232-RX对VCC短路时；
以上4种短路工况下，是否有现成的RS232收发芯片可以直接集成短路防护功能的？如果没有，请问针对以上4个短路工况，该如何处理呢？

您好，我看了下我们的收发器，232的收发器有集成短路保护的，但是针对IO开路保护。其他的RS232器件比如MAX3227/TRS3227的ESD防护等级要比MAX232 好一些。
短路保护的收发器比如RS422或者RS485会有。
那对于RS232来说，如果需要对IO进行短路保护，可以考虑使用TVS。
我看在这个帖子里推荐的是Bourns 公司的TBU-CA系列保护器件。
