is the synchronous and nonsynchronous modes of TI971 written to death by hardware?
Our hardware design for MODE 0 requires synchronized software configuration to light up, but when we design MODE5 on the hardware, synchronized software configuration can also light up the module. Is this normal? Is it possible to configure synchronous mode by simply changing the software if nonsynchronous mode is designed on the hardware?
