I have a question about if it is possible that FPDLINK can convert to GMSL？
Background: The current ADS domain Deserializer is MAX96722, while the serializer of the customer's camera at some stage is Ti DS90UB635
Question: Is there a simple way (without ISP SOC) to connect the camera to the ADS domain controller for image data acquisition?
Feasibility: Since MIPI is a standard protocol interface, is it possible to make a transfer board (light green) as follows, to connect Ti de-serializer to Maxim serializer directly, to achieve FPDLINK and GMSL2.0 inter conversion?
Concerns:
Solution 1: For deserializer and serializer In the initial stage of link, the back channel has some configuration, if it is not using a vendor's product, this layer should have a barrier to link? So it won't link to lock? So shouldn't it be feasible?
Solution 2: Should MIPI forwarding through ISP SOC be able to achieve the goal of interface switching?
