Regarding the TDR impedance test of the Deserializer DS90UB984 and its FPD-LINK-IV products, I have some questions to ask you, as shown below:
1. The TDR specification is shown in the table below. Does this specification define the fundamental frequency specification of the FPDLINK-IV communication gear rate? (Its higher harmonics are not tested)
For example, if the gear bandwidth is 6.75Gbps, the TDR impedance performance of the fundamental frequency of 3.75GHz is tested. Is my understanding correct?
2. The above TDR specification defines different impedance specifications for different positions. Landing pad and component refers to the device pad and components. Its TDR specification can be defined as 40-60Ω. Is my understanding correct?
3. For the selection of rise time, the 984 or 983 specification defines a rise time of 30ps. What is the signal fundamental frequency corresponding to this 30ps?
