Hello,I have some questions about FSI ：

Is it necessary to go through a handshake procedure before the master and slave devices communicate officially?

Is it possible to have master-slave communication directly without going through the handshake procedure?

Or can communication between the master and slave be achieved by sending only flush frames without sending Ping frames?

While technically, there is no hardware requirement of handshaking, once the FSITX and FSIRX modules of all devices have been configured, the handshake mechanism should be implemented to prepare each device in the chain before actual data transmission, since devices may power up in an arbitrary order in a real scenario. It may be possible to only send the flush sequence, but this wouldn't guarantee that the lead and node are properly recognizing each other within the topology. You may give it a try and report back with any specific questions.
