Hi, CCS v5 or V4 suppor the daisy chain.
In CCS when you setup the target configuration, you simply add a bypass device. Here is a screen shot from CCSv5.1:
I clicked "New" to add the emulator, and then with the emulator selected I clicked "Add" to add the C28xx and the bypass. Make sure the set the number of bypass bits for the CPLD.
The bypass is listed at the bottom of the 'Cpus' tab when you add a component:
CCSv4 is probably different, but similar.
