F28069（不带U后缀）能作为USB device使用吗？

一开始设计时没有注意，但后来查看手册时发现带U、F、M后缀的器件才有USB模块。但我把固件程序烧写进F28069后电脑仍能识别出USB设备。请问F28069（不带U）能作为USB device使用吗？F28069U上指定的USB 模块是指什么？
