TMS320F28379D中spi通信时修改数据位宽出现错误？

SPI_setConfig(SPIB_BASE, DEVICE_LSPCLK_FREQ, SPI_PROT_POL0PHA0,SPI_MODE_MASTER, 500000, 16);

调用了这个函数，我是直接把16改成8，想改为位宽为8的数据，发现修改后发送数据失败，测不到波形。

请问修改数据位宽还需要修改哪里？
