c2000的Piccolo launchpad板外部供电问题

我想请问：TI的C2000  Piccolo  launchpad板外部供电时是否需要将JP3和JP1的短路帽拔掉呢？

我的一块这款板子使用USB供电时不能用了，而且板子相当的烫手，估计什么地方坏了。是不是我外部供电时没有把上述两个短路帽拔掉把仿真部分的芯片烧坏了呢？谢谢
