看现象应该是你的主函数中没有循环程序，程序执行完了，已经运行到程序结尾并退出了。你可以在你的main()主函数里加while(1) 试一下。

“subscript out of range”数组索引超范围，串下标超限。通常导致的原因是定义的数组比如 string1(20),只允许有20个值，但在实际赋值过程中超过了20个值，就会导致下标超限。
