请问MSP430FR6972的UART能否工作在半双工模式下？如果可以能否把工作在半双工模式下串口,UART的RXD和TXD是怎样接线的？两个口接在一起吗？

不支持。
这里有一个软件UART可以实现半双工，但是芯片型号是msp430g2231，你可以参考一下：
