使用锂电池为MSP430F149供电问题

我想要使用一节锂电池（电压范围在3.0-4.2V）之间，要给MSP430F149芯片供电，因为其芯片工作电压范围为1.8-3.3V，所以我用这种锂电池给其供电，需要加入稳压芯片么？是不是可以直接为430供电呢？因为考虑加入稳压芯片会消耗量量，所以想尽量简化电路，比较纠结的就是电池的最大电压4.2V比430的最大工作电压要高一些，这样是否案却呢？
